Philip Armstrong S/S 15

Spring Summer Look Book 15

Philip Armstrong and Tony Burke are the designers behind the label Philip Armstrong. The pair met while studying fashion design.
Their joint passion for Fashion and Design proved to be a formidable combination and after five years experience in the industry, Philip and Tony collaborated on their first collection. Their unique style with a cutting edge focus on cut and detail was very well received and the Philip Armstrong label was born to high acclaim from the fashion press.
With every season, the brand grows in popularity and their pieces are now both collectable and highly sought after. Worn by a whole host of celebrities including Kelly Rowland, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Nicole Scherzinger and Helen Hunt to name a few.
As the Brand grows, so too does its following, encouraging Philip and Tony to strive for excellence in their field and excite their clients with every new look.

The collection will be available Online, In store and selected Harvey Nichols across the Uk.

I created the hair for the campaign this season, we wanted the look to be strong but playful so i decided on a low side parting the hair going over the face into a soft wave.

Get The Look

Products used: I prepped Kirstie's hair with tecni art pli, blow dried the hair upside down using ghd Air. For thickness i used a set of extensions by beauty works cut them to the same length as the models own hair. I wasn't adding any length it was all just to enhance Kirstie's natural hair and add a little bit of colour. The waving process i chosen to used ghd Curve in the classic tong this is a 26 mm barrel. Starting at the left hand side tonging back away from the face, i then allowed the curl to cool off and set the fringe area in a big barrel curl while the make up was applied.

Dress it out: Once the hair was set i brushed the movement out into a uniformed wave using a wide tooth comb. This is my favourite tool for dressing curls out, i prefer it to a soft bristle brush but what ever works for you? Adding lift to the crown i sprinkled some tecniart texture dust to the roots and slightly backcombed the top area. All hair was moved to the left hand side and to finish off i sprayed with Air Fix hairspray.
