Are You A State Registered Hairdresser?

ghd has supported the #getregistered campaign by state registering 18 of its partner hairdressers across its creative, education and style squad teams.
Jo Robertson, ghd Head of UK & ROI Education, says, “At ghd, we believe passionately that it’s in the interests of the industry as a whole – and in raising professional standards for clients – that we should have state registration.”
CEO/Registrar of the Hair Council, Sally Styles, also commended the move, saying, “I am absolutely delighted that ghd are backing the campaign and have registered all of their educators. ghd is a successful and professional global company which understands that the hair industry needs registration to bring up standards and professionalism.”
“The political lobbying campaign for registration has never been more active and the Hair Council is making huge strides towards the ultimate goal of all hairdressers and barbers having to be registered and licensed,” she added.
Im proud to say that I'm now a State Registered Hairdresser thanks to Jo Robertson and ghd. I think this is something that anybody within the industry should sign up to. So what are you waiting for ...
